A huge crocodile entered a village in Chandauli. When the farmers saw the crocodile crawling in the paddy field, there was a stir. The Forest Department was immediately informed about this. After this, the team reached the spot and rescued the crocodile and left it in Chandraprabha Dam.

When the crocodile was being rescued, hundreds of villagers gathered there. People were terrified on seeing the huge crocodile in the field. The forest department team, with the help of the villagers, managed to control the crocodile after about 4 hours of hard work and then it was taken and left in Chandraprabha Dam.

The crocodile was 12 feet long
A giant crocodile of about 12 feet long had reached Sukhdevpur village of Vijaypurva Gram Sabha of Chakia area of ​​Chandauli district. This area of ​​Chandauli is a hilly area. Many hill streams and small rivers flow here. It is raining continuously in the area and all the streams and rivers are in spate.

Chandraprabha had left the dam and reached the fields
It is being told that this huge crocodile came out of one of these drains, Chandraprabha drain, and entered the residential area. Actually, the farmers had gone towards their fields early in the morning. Then they saw a huge crocodile present in the field.

It took 4 hours to rescue
The news of the presence of a crocodile in the paddy field spread towards the forest and a crowd of hundreds of people gathered at the spot. Meanwhile, the villagers informed the forest department about this. On the information of the villagers, the forest department team reached the spot and with the help of the villagers, efforts began to control this giant crocodile. According to the forest department officials, after about 4 hours of hard work, this giant crocodile was caught and after this the forest department team took it with them.

The weight of the crocodile was about 2 quintals
Regional Forest Officer Chakia Range Ashwini Choubey said that today at 6:00 am, information was received from the villagers that a crocodile had come out in the field of Sukhdevpur in Vijaypurva village. We immediately formed a team of Rajpath Range and Chakia Range and reached the spot. This crocodile had come out of Chandraprabha Nala and entered the farmers’ field. This crocodile was about 12 feet long and weighed more than 2 quintals. The crocodile was caught in a safe condition and was brought and released in Chandraprabha Dam.
