China has quietly launched its most modern submarine. It is a diesel-electric submarine. Which has been included in the underwater fleet of the People’s Liberation Army-Navy (PLAN). It is being told that it is of Type-039A/B/C class. Which NATO calls Yuan class submarine.
The Chinese Navy has 48 diesel-electric submarines. Of these, 21 submarines are Type-039A/B class with a displacement of 3600 tonnes. But the new one that has been included is Type-039C type. Its design is also very stealthy. That is, it is expert in attacking silently. It was launched in April at Wuchang Shipyard. Its sea trial has also been completed.

These have the capability to fire anti-ship missiles. The Pentagon estimates that China will build 25 more such submarines by 2025 and add them to its navy. This submarine looks to be 83 to 85 meters i.e. 272 to 279 feet long. Whereas Yuan class submarines are 77 meters long.
The stern of this submarine is also of a different shape
Therefore, it was likely that this is a new class submarine. Its stern also looks like an X. This means that its maneuvering will be easier and more controlled. This will also reduce the noise under water. Whereas China’s Yuan class submarine does not have such a stern. Anti-ship missiles have been installed in it.
