Manish Anand has lived and worked in different countries around the world. After living outside India for 20 years, when he returned to the country, he started cultivating makhana in his native village. Through this farming, he started Farm to Planter. In which he set up an industry and employed hundreds of people there. The special thing is that the number of women in his company is more than men.

The government is providing a lot of support
There is a huge demand for makhana all over the world today. The production of makhana is very less as compared to the demand. Manish Anand says that when he started this business, he also got the support of the government.
