Under the PM Shri Free Air Ambulance Scheme launched in Madhya Pradesh, a patient was airlifted from Betul and admitted to Bhopal. This facility has been started with the aim of providing immediate relief to patients in emergency situations in the state. Sheklal Harle, a resident of Chakola in Betul, is the 13th patient to benefit from this air ambulance scheme in the state.

In fact, Sheklal Harle (51), a resident of Chakola village in Patan tehsil of Betul district, fell down while plastering the balcony a day earlier. This resulted in a spinal fracture and considering the complexity of the operation, the doctors referred the patient to Hamidia Hospital in the capital Bhopal.

Under the leadership of Collector Narendra Kumar Suryavanshi, the district administration made preparations to send the injured Harley by air ambulance. Due to this, the patient Sheklal was airlifted in time and brought to Bhopal for treatment in a short time. Where Sheklal’s treatment has started under the supervision of senior doctors.

The family expressed gratitude to CM Mohan Yadav

The family of the patient Sheklal Harle expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and said that the facility of Air Ambulance Scheme run in the interest of patients is proving to be a ray of hope for the lives of the poor.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Uike said that normally it takes 4 to 5 hours to travel from Betul to Bhopal. But this distance is covered in just 35 minutes by air ambulance. Till now, air ambulance was available only to financially well-off patients, but now the state government bears the expenses on it.
