PM Modi reached Poland, will go to Ukraine from here after two days

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Poland in the first phase of his two-nation visit. Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Poland is the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister in the last 45 years. During his stay in Poland, PM Modi will meet Polish President Andrzej Sebastian Duda. Along with this, he will hold bilateral talks with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Prime Minister Modi will leave for Ukraine from here after a two-day visit to Poland. During this time he will discuss with President Volodymyr Zelensky on a peaceful solution to the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia.

Before leaving, PM Modi said that my visit to Poland is taking place at a time when we are completing 70 years of our diplomatic relations. Poland is a major economic partner in Central Europe. He said that our mutual commitment to democracy and pluralism further strengthens our relations. I am looking forward to meeting my friends Prime Minister Donald Tusk and President Andrzej Duda and taking our partnership further.

PM Modi said that I will also meet members of the Indian community in Poland. Indian Ambassador to Poland Nagma Mohammad Malik said that discussions with the Polish leadership during Prime Minister Modi’s 2-day visit will give both sides an opportunity to exchange views on various subjects.
