After the sexual abuse of two girls in Badlapur, Maharashtra, a similar case has come to light from Akola. Where Pramod Sardar, a teacher of the Zila Parishad School of Kajikhed, has been accused of molesting school girls. The accused sexually abused six students by showing them pornographic videos. This incident came to light on Tuesday, when the girls went home and informed their parents about it.
It is being told that a teacher named Pramod Sardar in the Zila Parishad Higher Secondary School was showing pornographic videos to the girl students of class VIII and touching them inappropriately for the last four months. A girl student called the toll-free helpline of the Child Welfare Center and informed about the incident, after which the officials of the center reached the school and started investigating the matter.

Ural police took immediate action and registered a case against teacher Pramod Sardar under serious sections and arrested him. SHO Gopal Dhole said that the matter is being investigated seriously, strict action will be taken against the accused. MLA Vasant Khandelwal said that this matter should be investigated seriously.
Asha Mirge, former member of Maharashtra State Women’s Commission, has reacted strongly on this matter and demanded strict action against the accused teacher. Let us tell you, after the incident of sexual abuse of 3 and 4 year old KG girls in a private school in Badlapur of Thane district of Maharashtra, protests are taking place everywhere. A crowd of thousands had come on the railway track of the local train here. The crowd also pelted stones at the police.
KG students were sexually abused in Badlapur
This incident happened on 12th and 13th August. Akshay Shinde, a 23 year old sweeper in Adarsh School, sexually abused both the girls. After which both the girls were scared of going to school. The parents got suspicious and when they took the girls into confidence and questioned them, the incident was revealed. The parents of the girl lodged a complaint in Badalpur police station with the help of social workers. Two days later, a case was registered late night on Friday, 16th August. The accused was arrested on 17th August.
People angry with the incident protested by standing on the tracks
On Tuesday morning at 8 o’clock, people angry with the incident started protesting by standing on the tracks of Badlapur railway station. Many trains were stopped. Police lathicharged the protesters to control the crowd. Stones were also pelted on the police, the accused Akshay was taken on remand by the police till August 21. The school management has suspended the principal, a class teacher and a female attendant. Internet service has been shut down in Badlapur. The movement of local trains from the station started at 8 o’clock in the evening.
