In the 69000 assistant teacher recruitment case in Uttar Pradesh, the Allahabad High Court has ordered to cancel the old merit list and prepare it afresh. After this order, the banks were issued letters and instructed to recover the loans from the teachers. However, after four days, the banks’ recovery order has been canceled. On this, SP President Akhilesh Yadav has targeted the BJP. He said that the 69000 teacher recruitment case is another ‘economic-social-mental’ blow of the injustice of the BJP rule, but it is a defeat in front of the power of unity.

Loan recovery order has been postponed, not cancelled: Akhilesh Yadav

Akhilesh Yadav wrote on social media account ‘X’ (earlier Twitter), as soon as the 69000 teacher recruitment was cancelled by the court, Banda District Cooperative Bank issued an order to recover any kind of loan taken from the recruited teachers from the bank and conspired to close the way for any kind of loan in future. But this order could not last even a day in front of the anger of the youth and the BJP government had to issue an order to cancel it too, but remember that the BJP government of UP is doing this work not from the heart but under pressure, that is why this order should not be completely cancelled but should be considered suspended for some time and its full opposition should continue. However, in the immediate term, this is a victory of the unity of youth power against the anti-youth BJP.

He further wrote, ‘The recruited teachers who had taken some loan for their family and other belongings in the hope of continuation of the job, is this government now conspiring to take possession of their houses and belongings? This is a very shameful act that BJP wants to show the power of power by giving pain and suffering to the families.’

Teachers will be affected mentally, socially and financially: Akhilesh Yadav

Akhilesh Yadav further said, ‘The way the BJP government of UP has been disgraced for its bad intentions in teacher recruitment, perhaps it wanted to take revenge from the candidates. That is why it is issuing such orders. This will increase the mental pressure on the teachers who are already scared of losing their jobs. When the bank will go to their homes to recover these loans, their social prestige will also be hurt. This will have far-reaching negative consequences because an economically-socially-mentally affected teacher will also affect teaching, which will also affect the education and future of the children of the state. This will also have a deep shock on the lives of those recruited teachers, who had started their newly married life by getting married and were raising their family on the basis of this job. Only the family members know the responsibility of married life. Who knows what happiness BJP gets by hurting the public and the family members.’

Let us tell you that on the decision of the High Court on recruitment, the banks had decided to start the process of loan recovery at their own level. After this, the candidates on Tuesday gheraoed the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and protested. These reserved category candidates are demanding to prepare a new merit list soon and release the recruitment program. All of them are demanding to follow the order of the High Court. A new merit list of teachers will be released in 3 months. Now the question has also arisen on the future of those teachers who have been working for 4 years after getting a place in the merit in this recruitment exam.
