Amidst the fierce war going on with Hamas in Gaza, the Israeli army has recovered the bodies of six hostages. The names of these hostages are Yagaev Buchshtab, Alexander Dansig, Avraham Mundar, Yoram Metzger, Nadav Popplewell and Haim Peri, whose bodies were found in Khan Younis area of Gaza. All of them were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from Israel on 7 October.

The search operation was carried out in a joint operation by the Israel Defense Forces, Israel Space Agency and Intelligence Unit. During this, a tunnel about 10 meters deep was discovered, which was leading to the tunnel shaft. The blast door, weapons and explosives used by the terrorists were deactivated here. The IDF has shared a video.

On the other hand, after the meeting in Doha regarding the ongoing ceasefire in Gaza remained inconclusive, efforts have once again intensified. Regarding this, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has urged Hamas to accept the proposal. Hamas did not participate in the talks in Qatar last week. Therefore, the talks stopped without any result. This time too, there is no impact on Hamas.

The US Secretary of State met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for three hours on Sunday. He said that this is the last chance for the release of the hostages. Netanyahu has also described the talks with Blinken as very positive. The second phase of the ceasefire deal is to be held in Cairo, Egypt this week. For this, the Israeli delegation has left for Egypt.
