Famous YouTuber and social media influencer Anjali Chauhan, resident of Maharajganj district of UP, has accused her lover of cheating her of Rs 1.55 lakh by blackmailing her. Anjali has millions of subscribers on YouTube. He has a good fan following on social media. According to Anjali, her lover cheated her of more than Rs 1.5 lakh by threatening to make her call recording, private photos etc. viral.
Anjali Chauhan has alleged in the complaint given to the police that she had an affair with Vicky Sharma, a resident of Azad Nagar of the local town. Whenever Vicky used to talk to Anjali, he used to record it. Meanwhile, he started demanding money from Anjali. When Anjali refused to give him the money, he started threatening to make the recording of the phone conversation and private photos viral.
In such a situation, YouTuber Anjali Chauhan gradually gave him Rs 95,000 to save her image. During this incident, accused Vicky Sharma bought a mobile phone worth Rs 60,000 and also got the payment for it from Anjali. Despite this her lover did not stop blackmailing her. He started harassing Anjali again and again. Due to which Anjali had to lodge a complaint against him in the police station.
Anjali Chauhan told in her complaint given to the police that the complaint letter she had given to the District Magistrate on Tehsil Day was exaggerated by the lawyer. But now the complaint given again is a true incident. Therefore, taking cognizance of the new complaint, action should be taken against the accused.
Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police (SP) Somendra Meena said that a case has been registered on the complaint of the female YouTuber and further action is being taken. On Tehsil Day, the YouTuber had given an application, in which the police station incharge was ordered to register a case. A case has been registered under relevant sections at Nichlaul police station. Investigation is being done. Action will be taken based on evidence.
