This film, which was making huge money from the very first day, had crossed the figure of Rs 200 crore in the first 4 days and its Net India collection had become Rs 204.
But now on Monday the film has once again created a stir and has become one of those rare films whose Monday earnings are better than Friday. ‘Stree 2’ had collected Rs 35.30 crore at the box office on Friday. Now on the festival of Raksha Bandhan, this film has also got full love from brothers and sisters.
Initial estimates from trade reports suggest that ‘Stree 2’ has collected in the range of Rs 37-39 crore on the 5th day i.e. on Monday. There was a huge crowd of viewers for the film on Monday and in the final figures, its Monday collection may even reach Rs 40 crores. That means in 5 days ‘Stree 2’ has collected at least more than Rs 240 crore in India.
‘Stree 2’ again made a record
The highest grossing film at the Hindi box office in 2024 is Prabhas’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ (Hindi). Only the Hindi version of this film had a lifetime net collection of Rs 293 crore. This was followed by Hrithik Roshan’s film ‘Fighter’, whose lifetime net collection was Rs 212.73 crore. But with the earning of just 5 days, ‘Stree 2’ has now become the second top Hindi film of this year.
The way Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s film is earning, there is every chance that with just one week’s earnings, ‘Stree 2’ will break the record of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and become the highest grossing film of the year. The trend of ‘Stree 2’ at the box office is showing that its lifetime collection can reach the range of Rs 400 crore.
