In Jodhpur on Sunday, a nine year old innocent child got hit by a Chinese manja. Due to this his throat was cut and he was badly injured. He had to get about twenty stitches. Apart from his throat, he suffered many cuts on his hands. On Monday, his father also reported this matter to the police.

Mohit Solanki, a resident of Makrana Mohalla, was going for a bike ride on Kila Road with his son Kunj and nephew on Sunday. During this time, near Rao Jodha Park, suddenly the thread of the manjha got stuck around Kunj’s neck. After this he immediately stopped the bike. By then the child started bleeding from his throat.

Not only this, Kunj got cuts on his hand. Mohit Solanki told that to save the children he pulled the manjha and during this he also got cuts on his hands. Many people were flying kites there. Still no one came for help. With the help of a passerby, he immediately took his son to Pavata Hospital. The doctor there could not treat him. From there he was referred to Mathuradas Mathur Hospital. Where 20 to 22 stitches were put in his neck.

Child not able to speak properly
The child is not able to speak properly due to his throat being cut. Mohit Solanki told that he has also lodged a report about this incident in Sursagar police station. Kite flying takes place in Jodhpur on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. In such a situation, the Police Commissioner had issued an order on August 17 itself, banning the use of Chinese Manjha.

Apart from this, the Commissioner in his order had banned kite flying for 2 hours in the morning and evening. So that the birds are not harmed. The Police Commissioner has imposed this ban from August 18 to September 1, but this accident happened the very next day of this order.
