An encounter took place between police and cow smugglers in Shadiabad police station area late on Sunday night in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. Due to which a cow smuggler was injured by police bullets. After which the police arrested 4 cow smugglers including the injured. The injured Gautskar is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital. At present his condition is said to be stable.
Police also recovered pistol and cartridges
The police have also recovered a pistol and cartridges along with beef from the arrested cattle smugglers. In the matter, CO Bhudkuda Balram said that vehicle checking was being conducted by Shadiabad police station as part of the campaign against crime and criminals in the police station area. During this time all four were arrested. During this time, when they were strictly interrogated, all four admitted to cow theft.

Encounter took place during recovery of beef
On the trail of the four, the police recovered chopped beef from sacks and the trunk of the scooter from a ruin near Mohabbatpur village. During this time, Chunnu Qureshi, a smuggler, pushed the police and started running away and started firing at the police with the intention of killing him with a pistol already kept in the bush. Chunnu Qureshi was shot in the left leg in police retaliation. Who was sent to the nearest hospital for treatment. Where her treatment is going on. The four caught cattle smugglers are residents of Ghazipur district.
