An encounter took place between police and cow smugglers in Shadiabad police station area late on Sunday night in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. Due to which a cow smuggler was injured by police bullets. After which the police arrested 4 cow smugglers including the injured. The injured Gautskar is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital. At present his condition is said to be stable.

The police have also recovered a pistol and cartridges along with beef from the arrested cattle smugglers. The four caught cattle smugglers are residents of Ghazipur district.
