The festival of Rakshabandhan is being celebrated across the country on 19th August i.e. Monday. Rakshabandhan is the festival of love between brothers and sisters. On this day sisters tie Rakhi on their brother’s wrist. In this series, to make Raksha Bandhan more special, Noida Police has made a big announcement on August 19 to increase traffic awareness among women. Police will not issue challan to women on Monday. Besides, helmets will also be distributed to them by the police team.

Noida Traffic Police’s initiative to increase awareness

According to the order, Noida Traffic Police will conduct intensive campaigns at different intersections on Monday on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan to increase traffic awareness among women. In which the traffic police will distribute helmets to protect women like a brother. Apart from this, women will also not be challaned by the traffic police. The traffic police is not issuing challan to women so that they can tie Rakhi to their brother without any hindrance.

When is the auspicious time?

Bhadra is given great importance in the holy festival of Rakshabandhan. Because no auspicious work should be done in Bhadra. Therefore, even Rakhi is not tied during this period. Bhadra has started at 2.21 pm. At the same time, Bhadra tail will remain from 09:51 am to 10:53 am. Then, Bhadra Mukha will remain from 10:53 am in the morning to 12:37 pm. After this, Bhadra period will end at 1:30 pm. Rakhi can be tied only after 1:30 pm. However, today Rakhi can be tied in Bhadra also.

The auspicious time for tying Rakhi will be from 1:43 pm to 4:20 pm. Total time to tie Rakhi will be 2 hours 37 minutes.
