By-elections are to be held on 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. All parties have geared up for this. But a very interesting political ‘war’ is being seen between BSP and Chandrashekhar Azad’s party Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram). While BSP has announced to contest the by-elections after a long time, Chandrashekhar Azad has also geared up after his success in the Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, Azad Samaj Party has also announced its candidates on three seats.

Announcement of candidates for three seats

Chandrashekhar Azad’s party has nominated Chaudhary Satpal from Ghaziabad Sadar seat, Zahid Hasan from Mirapur seat of Muzaffarnagar and Dheeraj Maurya from Majhwan seat of Mirzapur. The party has said that it will soon announce the names of candidates for the remaining seven seats. This information was given by the party’s state president Sunil Kumar Chittor.

BSP played this bet on two seats

Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party has announced its candidates from Milkipur and Meerapur. Ram Gopal Kori has got the ticket from Milkipur. At the same time, he has made Chandrashekhar Azad his candidate from Meerapur by breaking his close aide. Let us tell you that in 2017 also, Ram Gopal Kori had contested the assembly elections from Milkipur on BSP ticket. Then he was at number three. In 2017, Ram Gopal Kori got 54000 votes as BSP candidate.

Let us tell you that BSP had made a big move by giving ticket to Shah Nazar from Meerapur seat of Muzaffarnagar. Actually, Shah Nazar is the District Panchayat President of BSP and has been associated with Chandrashekhar Azad’s party. In such a situation, Mayawati has made Chandrashekhar her candidate by breaking the alliance in Mirpur.

The Election Commission has not announced the dates for the by-elections to be held on 10 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh. Suspense still persists regarding the dates of voting on these seats. Let us tell you that out of 10 seats vacant for the by-election, five Sisamau, Katehari, Karhal, Milkipur and Kundarki were with SP. At the same time, Phulpur, Ghaziabad, Majhwan and Khair were with BJP. Meerapur seat was with BJP’s ally Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD).
