Questions raised on Congress
In a statement issued by the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) on Sunday, it was said that the news of Ghulam Nabi Azad’s return to Congress is completely baseless and such rumors are being spread by the leaders of Jammu and Kashmir Congress.
BJP also started preparations
According to the information, BJP will start its campaign from next week. According to sources, many big leaders including PM Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and BJP President JP Nadda can hold a rally in Jammu and Kashmir. It is being told that BJP is preparing to contest alone in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. The party can coordinate with independents and small parties in the Kashmir Valley.
Rashid Engineer’s brother can contest elections
According to the information, Khurshid Ahmed Sheikh, younger brother of Engineer Rashid, can contest elections from Langate seat of Handwara in North Kashmir. It is being said that Khurshid Ahmed may take voluntary retirement from the education department in the coming days. AIP came to prominence in Jammu and Kashmir politics when its patron Engineer Rashid defeated former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah from Baramulla seat by more than one lakh votes. Let us tell you that Rashid has been imprisoned in Delhi’s Tihar Jail since 2019, when he was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the alleged terrorism financing and money laundering case.

Zulfikar Chaudhary joins BJP
Rajouri Poonch’s prominent leader and former minister and MLA Zulfikar Chaudhary has joined BJP along with his supporters on Sunday. Zulfikar Chaudhary has also been a minister from PDP quota in the BJP government. On his decision, he said, ‘BJP’s policies and schemes have reached the last person standing in the queue. These things forced me to join BJP. Peace has been restored in Jammu and Kashmir, stone pelting has ended, the common man feels more safe.
