UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Kashi Vishwanath temple on Saturday and worshiped Baba Vishwanath. As the CM of UP, Yogi Adityanath attended Baba’s court for the 125th time. Before this, the Chief Minister reached Varanasi and held a review meeting of development works and law and order with the officials. Besides, instructions were also given to maintain order in the temple for the remaining days of the month of Sawan.
First CM to visit Baba Vishwanath for the 125th time
UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Varanasi on Saturday. As the Chief Minister of UP, Yogi worshiped Baba Vishwanath for the 125th time. This time this is the second visit of Yogi in the month of Shravan. Even on the first Monday of Sawan, UP CM had attended Baba’s court.
UP CM performed ‘Shodashopachar Puja’ of Shri Kashi Vishwanath. Yogi Adityanath is the only Chief Minister who has visited the court of Baba Vishwanath and Kotwal Kaal Bhairav of Kashi 125 times. Gorakshpeethadhishwar Mahant Yogi Adityanath’s dedication towards Sanatan religion and culture is often visible. Yogi worshiped as per the rituals in Kaal Bhairav temple.
CM Yogi gave instructions for the convenience of visitors
The Chief Minister of UP has played an active role in the construction of Kashi Corridor. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been a witness to every moment of the redevelopment of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham, from Bhoomi Pujan to inauguration. The Chief Minister gave instructions for easy darshan of the devotees coming to Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
Senior Archak Shrikant Mishra said, ‘As a representative of the state, the Chief Minister’s devotion and inner feeling of being connected to Baba is visible. Yogi ji always worships Baba with the intention of welfare of the country, state and public. Yogi had darshan of Baba Vishwanath 93 times from 26 May 2017 to 11 December 2022. Darshan completed his century in March 2023.
On 17 August 2024, he completed darshan for the 125th time. Before this, after reaching Varanasi, Yogi held a meeting with the officials and reviewed the development works. At night he also inspected the development works on the roads of Kashi.
