After a couple from Saharanpur committed suicide by jumping into the Ganga of Haridwar, the family was left with a mountain of grief. The family members are in bad condition and crying. Saurabh Babbar’s body was found on August 11, but till now nothing has been found about his wife Mona. A team of police and divers are engaged in search of Mona. Meanwhile, ‘Aaj Tak’ spoke to Darshanlal Babbar, father of deceased businessman Saurabh. On this he said that we were not sure that Saurabh would ever do this. It gave us lifelong sorrow.
According to Darshanlal- Saurabh had gone to his in-laws’ house on Friday night (August 9) with his wife Mona and two children. Then he left the children there and left for Haridwar with his wife. People came to know that he committed suicide by jumping into the Ganga in Haridwar. Now it has given us a lifetime of sorrow. There are small children, I left them.
On the question of his last meeting with son Saurabh, Darshanlal says that he met him two days before the incident. He used to come home with his daughter-in-law. But it never seemed that he would take such a big step. If we had known, we would have talked to him and explained. These steps are not allowed to be taken. But he never mentioned.
What else did Saurabh’s father say?
According to Darshanlal, he (Saurabh) lived separately after marriage. There was a jewelery shop in Kishunpura. For about 12 years. Not much is known about his transactions. Nor would he tell. Yes, he used to come home often.
Saurabh Babbar’s father Darshanlal said that we do not know whose money was stuck with him and who ran away with his money. The creditors are not saying anything, but we are stuck in trouble. If you are in pain, what should you say?

Saurabh was troubled by debt

Expressing his pain in the suicide note, Saurabh wrote that he is fed up of paying interest, now no more interest is being paid, hence he is committing suicide. Will send selfies from wherever they commit suicide. Before jumping into the river, Saurabh had made a last video call to his family, the recording of which is going viral on the internet media.
