PCB has said in its statement that construction work is going on in the stadium for the preparations for the Champions Trophy to be hosted by Pakistan next year. For this reason this decision has been taken. PCB said, ‘For us, the safety and health of the fans is the priority. After discussing all the security issues, we have decided that it would be safe to conduct the second Test in an empty stadium. ,

PCB said that after this decision, the tickets issued for the match have been canceled with immediate effect. He said, ‘Fans who have already purchased tickets will automatically be given full refund. This money will be returned to the same account which was given while purchasing the ticket.

A 2-match test series will be played between Pakistan and Bangladesh teams. Its first match will be held on 21st August in Rawalpindi. The last i.e. second test match will be played from 30th August. This match will be held on the ground of Karachi.
