There is anger across the country after the case of rape and murder of a trainee doctor came to light in Kolkata. Resident doctors are continuously protesting. Meanwhile, the investigation of the case has been handed over to CBI. But the anger of the protesting doctors is still not subsiding. Doctors have raised many questions in this matter.

Doctors of Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical Hospital say that the seminar hall of the hospital where this heinous crime was committed should have been sealed. Why was the seminar hall not sealed?

The protesting doctors say that the reasoning behind keeping the seminar hall open is that repair work was to be done there. But the repairing work was to be done in the room next to the seminar hall. There was not even a CCTV camera inside the seminar hall. This is a kind of negligence. The protesters have also raised questions on the construction work in front of the seminar hall. They say that an attempt has been made to tamper with the evidence.

The protesting doctors of KGMU, Lucknow say that the Bengal High Court has handed over the investigation to the CBI. But the evidence of this crime has been destroyed. In such a situation, how will there be a fair investigation?

At the same time, the doctors of Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital who are protesting say that they have four demands. The first demand was that the investigation of this case should be handed over to CBI. But to fulfill this demand the High Court had to come forward. The government did not accept this demand but the Kolkata High Court gave it the green signal.

The second demand is that written assurance should be given regarding the implementation of the Central Protection Act (CPA). But till now no assurance has been received from the government, rather the government is making us go round and round. The third demand is that the high authority in this matter should be permanently dismissed immediately. The fourth demand is that a compensation of at least Rs 1 crore should be given to the family.

Let us tell you that photographs of the seminar hall of RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata, where the body of the female doctor was found, have also surfaced. A patient bed is visible along with wooden and plastic chairs in that hall. Looking at the pictures, it seems as if unused items present in the hospital were also kept here. Many different types of machines are also kept in the hall.

Let us tell you that the body of a female resident doctor was found in this seminar hall itself. According to the information, Lady Doctor had dinner with four of her colleagues in this hall itself. After dinner, the female doctor’s colleagues left, while the female resident doctor had decided to stay back. In this seminar hall, the accused had raped the resident doctor and then brutally murdered her.

Murder was done after sexual harassment

In fact, on August 9, the body of a female resident doctor was found in the seminar hall of RG Kar Hospital, Kolkata. A 31-year-old post graduate trainee doctor on duty at the Government RG Kar Medical College and Hospital was raped and murdered on the night of August 8.

The post mortem report of this case has also come out, which the police had handed over to the victim’s family. It was told in this report that the victim was murdered by strangulation. Before that she was raped. The accused had strangled her twice. He died between 3 and 5 in the morning.

Sanjay was addicted to watching porn movies

In this case, the police has arrested the accused Sanjay Roy. The accused was neither from the hospital staff nor any relative of any patient. He used to work as a civic volunteer for Kolkata Police. It is being told that accused Sanjay Roy was addicted to watching obscene films while drinking alcohol. On the night of the incident, he came and went inside the hospital several times.

In fact, whenever a policeman was admitted to RG Kar Medical College, Sanjay Roy was present as his assistant to bring his medicines and to provide other help. But on the day this incident occurred, the accused had not come to the hospital for any work. That day he came to the back part of the hospital to drink alcohol and after drinking alcohol, he watched obscene videos on his mobile phone. Then the crime was committed.
