Rape has been confirmed in the medical test of the minor victim of the Kannauj case, after which the police has increased the sections of rape against former block chief Nawab Singh Yadav. Earlier, in the statement given before the magistrate, the victim had also talked about rape. Based on the statement of the victim, the police can also tighten the noose against the aunt.
Kannauj SP Amit Kumar Anand said that the victim has confirmed the rape incident in her statement before the magistrate. He said, “With the confirmation of rape, charges have been added against the accused under the relevant section of the crime.”
According to the news agency, the SP said that the aunt who took the victim to Nawab Singh was also called for questioning on Tuesday, but she did not come before the police. He said that action will also be taken against the aunt of the minor victim in the case. A case will be registered and the police is currently searching for him.

According to the police, the accused is the manager of a private college and he had called the girl and her aunt to the college on Sunday night on the pretext of helping the girl get a job. Officials said that the bail application of the accused is to be heard in the court of POCSO judge Alka Yadav on Wednesday i.e. today.
