At the trailer launch of ‘Angry Young Men’ documentary, Javed Akhtar announced that he is going to work once again with his old partner Salim Khan. According to a report in Times of India, at the trailer launch, when the pair, who gave many iconic Bollywood dialogues, were asked, which is their favorite dialogue from their films? So Javed Akhtar said, ‘Now he will come.’ People became confused after hearing this.
Clearing this confusion, Javed Sahab further said, ‘We are going to write again. I talked to Salim Sahab that one last film should be written together. Superstar Salman Khan, son of Salim Khan, who was present at the event, reacted to the announcement by saying, ‘The line starts from here.’

Salim-Javed duo was the most expensive writer pair of Hindi films during their time. It was even said that in many films his fee was more than that of the hero of the film.
