In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, a young man was brutally beaten for stealing ridge gourd. The young man’s hands and legs were tied and he was beaten. People present at the spot made a video of this incident and made it viral on social media. It is seen in the video that the young man is pleading to spare himself, but no one listened to him. This incident is said to have happened on Sunday.
After the video went viral, the police took cognizance of the matter and brought both the parties to the police station. A case has been filed by both the parties against each other. It is being told that Jalaluddin, resident of Sakras village of Baheri area, plucked the ridge gourd planted in Indrapal’s field. There was a dispute between the two on this.

It is alleged that some people including Chandrapal and Inderpal tied Jalaluddin’s hands and legs, made him lie on the ground and beat him severely. It can be seen in the video that the person being beaten is begging for mercy but the crowd is standing and watching the show. This entire incident is being reported from Sakras village of Bahedi police station area.
Police registered a case from both the parties
The police called both the parties to the police station and interrogated them. Jalaluddi filed a case of assault and on behalf of Inderpal, a case of ridge gourd theft was filed against Jalaluddi. Police say that the matter is being investigated and further action will be taken accordingly.
