The country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited has today started exporting its ‘Made-in-India’ SUV Fronx to Japan. Fronx will be Maruti Suzuki’s first SUV to be launched in Japan. Giving information, the company said that Fronx is manufactured exclusively in Maruti Suzuki’s state-of-the-art Gujarat plant. Initially, the first consignment of more than 1,600 Fronx SUVs for Japan has departed from Pipavav port in Gujarat.
Let us tell you that, Frontex is the second model of Maruti Suzuki which has been exported to Japan after Baleno (2016). This SUV is planned to be launched in Japan in the autumn season of 2024 by Maruti Suzuki’s parent company Suzuki Motor Corporation.
