In Rajasthan, a serving army officer was beaten up by some policemen. When Rajasthan Government Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore got information about this, he went straight to the police station. Here he strongly reprimanded the policemen. He asked how the policemen assaulted a serving army personnel?
Rajasthan Cabinet Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that the policemen have misused the uniform. He asked to get the mental condition of all the policemen involved in this case examined. He also talked to the DG and the Police Commissioner regarding the assault on the Army jawan. After his rebuke, Jaipur Police Commissioner also took action against the policemen and sent a sub-inspector and four policemen to the line.

Video of minister reprimanding police goes viral
A video of Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore is also viral on social media, in which he can be seen reprimanding the policemen. He said, “Have you not learned the basic manners or have you become a different wearer of the uniform? Is there any patience, is there any service to the public in your mind? Or is it bullying.”
Army jawan accuses police of assault
The army jawan alleges that he was brutally assaulted and the army jawan was allegedly stripped and assaulted. Later, while talking to the media, Minister Rathore told that the policemen had told the army jawan, “Police is the father of the army.” He said that this is a very serious matter.

‘Rajasthan Police will take action, full confidence’
The minister said that he has full confidence in the Rajasthan Police that they will get the policemen who do this (assaulting the army jawan) mentally examined, will get treatment and will also take action. People who have such mentality are a danger to the society and it is cowardice to intimidate someone who is following the law with the help of uniform.
