A surprising news has come to light in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. A person was murdered over a dispute over paying autorickshaw fare. Regarding the incident, a Mumbai Police official said that there was an argument between two people over paying autorickshaw fare in Kurla on Monday, after which the murder took place.

The police officer said that in this fight, a 28-year-old youth working in a garment factory was murdered by his colleague. The officer said that the incident took place at 12:30 am on Arterial LBS Road and the deceased has been identified as Chhakkan Ali.

According to the news agency, the officer said, ‘Examination of CCTV footage of the area has revealed that the deceased was attacked by a person. The Crime Branch team is now investigating this matter. In the police investigation, the accused of murder has been identified as Saif Zahid Ali, who worked as a helper in the same unit of the factory.

After this murder incident, the Crime Branch team caught the accused Saif Ali at Kalyan Railway Station in the evening. He told the police that there was a fight between the two over paying autorickshaw fare, after which he attacked, resulting in the death of Chhakkan Ali. The police have handed him over to Kurla police for further action. An official said that the murder accused will be presented in the court on Tuesday.

The murder took place four days ago in Navi Mumbai.
