Prithvi Shaw Sapna Gill Controversy: A big news is coming out about the star opener of the Indian team, Prithvi Shaw. In the beginning of 2023, he had a fight with social media influencer Sapna Gill and her friends. Now Dindoshi Sessions Court of Mumbai has issued a second summons in this case.
It is told that when the first summons was issued against Prithvi Shaw recently, neither the star cricketer nor any lawyer on his behalf had reached the court to represent him. But now Dindoshi Sessions Court has issued a second summons and has asked Prithvi Shaw to appear.
Let us tell you that Prithvi Shaw’s controversy is from the beginning of 2023. Then Prithvi Shaw had a fight with social media influencer Sapna Gill and her friends in a hotel in Mumbai. Here the matter reached a scuffle, the videos of which also went viral. A case was registered in this matter on behalf of Prithvi Shaw, in which 8 people were prosecuted. Sapna Gill was also arrested.
There was a huge fight outside the hotel in February
Actually, this whole matter is of 15 February 2023, when Prithvi Shaw had gone for dinner with his friend at a five-star hotel in Santa Cruz. During that time, two people took selfies with Prithvi Shaw, but the same people came back again and asked to take selfies with other people also.
Prithvi Shaw then refused saying that he had come to eat with friends and did not want to be disturbed. After this the dispute escalated and a scuffle broke out between the two parties. After this, on the basis of the complaint of Prithvi’s friend, the police had registered a case against 8 people including Sapna Gill. Sapna Gill was also arrested in the case. Then Sapna came out on bail.
Both the parties got cases registered against each other. Some videos of the clash between Sapna Gill and Prithvi Shaw were also revealed. Both sides had accused each other of assault. Sapna had also accused Prithvi of molestation. Then Sapna had claimed that the police did not register her FIR. After this she went straight to the court. After the intervention of the court, a case was registered with the police.
Sapna Gill has filed a complaint under sections 354, 509, 324 of IPC in some cases including beating with bat and molestation. While filing this complaint, Sapna had also given a medical certificate from the government hospital. In which sexual assault is also mentioned.
Police also examined several CCTV footages
Police told the court that they also examined the CCTV footage of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower. After watching these videos, it was revealed that Sapna was chasing Prithvi Shaw’s car with a baseball bat in her hand. Sapna and her friends also broke the glass of the cricketer’s car. CISF officials have also told the police that no such incident has taken place as claimed by Sapna Gill.
The officer had told that after getting information about the incident, he immediately reached the spot, where he saw a woman holding a baseball bat in her hand. Seeing the police coming to the spot, the male friend snatched the bat from the woman and threw it aside. In its report presented in the court, the police quoted the statement of the CISF officer and said that no man was assaulting the woman at the spot.
