The first episode of the popular show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ went on air in the year 2000. Amitabh Bachchan hosted it. Till date only Amitabh is stuck on the hot seat. However, there came a year in between, when Shahrukh Khan appeared in place of Amitabh, but Shahrukh was not successful in impressing the audience with the enthusiasm and passion seen in Big B’s voice.

Till now 15 seasons of ‘KBC’ have been successfully aired on TV. Its 16th season is starting from 12 August 2024 on Sony TV. When the season started, the highest amount was Rs 1 crore. Gradually the makers of KBC increased this amount to Rs 7 crore. This game show had a unique pattern. Four options for one question. And one of these options is correct.
