In fact, in the final round of the event, Jordan won the bronze medal by finishing third with a score of 13.766. Whereas Anna’s score was 13.700 and she was eliminated after standing fourth. That means in a way he was defeated. After the CAS decision, this matter has now been completely overturned.
After the defeat in the match, Ana Barbosu and her team had filed a case in CAS. He said that Jordan Chiles was given wrong points, due to which she stood third and won the bronze medal. There was a long hearing in CAS in this matter and they found Anna right.
After this, CAS has also deducted the score of Jordan Chiles. After the decision, Jordan Chiles’ score has been increased to 13.666. With this she reached fifth position. While Ana Barbosu came at third place. In this way, after the court’s decision, Anna was given the bronze medal. Now Anna is happy after this decision. In the final of the gymnastics floor event, Rebecca Andrade of Brazil won the gold medal and Simone Biles of America won the silver medal.

Let us tell you that Vinesh Phogat’s case is also going on in CAS court. Vinesh was assured of a silver medal by entering the final of 50 kg freestyle wrestling, but she was disqualified just before the medal match, because her weight was 100 grams more than before the Olympic gold medal match.
