Every game taking place during this period and its wins and losses will be recorded in history. At present, every day there are news of victories of players in different sports from different countries.

Winning an Olympic medal is a once in a lifetime opportunity for any athlete and they cherish this moment for the rest of their life. But what if his medal loses its shine even before the Olympics are over? Nyjah Huston, an American athlete who won the bronze medal in the current Paris Olympics 2024, has made a similar allegation that the medal he received has started becoming colorless and spoiled.

Naijah, a member of the USA Skateboard team at Paris 2024, took to social media to express concern over the quality of the Olympic medals. This 29-year-old player had won the bronze medal by finishing third in men’s street skateboarding on July 30. Here Yuto Horigome of Japan won the gold medal and Jagger Eaton of America won the silver medal.

What did Naijah say?

The famous skateboarder, who won 18 gold medals in the X Games and World Championships, shared a picture of his deteriorating bronze medal on Instagram on Thursday. He said in a video- ‘These Olympic medals look good when they are brand new, but after keeping it on your skin with sweat for a while and then giving it to your friends over the weekend, its quality comes to the fore. It’s only been a week.

‘Increase the quality a little’

He added, “I mean look at this thing. It looks rough. Even the front is starting to peel off a little bit. I don’t know, maybe the quality needs to be turned up a bit.” In the video, the lack of quality of Huston’s medal is clearly visible, with considerable discoloration on both sides.

Let us tell you that the medals of Paris Olympics 2024 are unique because they are made using saved pieces of iron used to build the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
