India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra won silver medal in Paris Olympics 2024. In the final match played on August 8, Neeraj threw a throw of 89.45 meters in his second attempt. Neeraj Chopra had also hinted about surgery after the final match. Chopra said after the final, ‘I will talk to my team and take a decision accordingly. I am pushing myself forward despite the current condition of my body. There is still a lot left in me and I have to keep myself fit for it.

After winning the silver medal in the Paris Olympics, there is going to be a big change in the coaching staff of Neeraj Chopra. Neeraj Chopra’s current coach Klaus Bartonitz will no longer be with him. Klaus used to work with Neeraj for a few months in a year. Neeraj and his team are looking to upgrade their backroom staff. Klaus was working with Neeraj since 2018.
