A psycho killer who has become synonymous with fear in Bareilly, UP, has finally been arrested. His name is Kuldeep. It is alleged that he murdered nine middle-aged women one after the other in about 14 months. All were murdered by strangulation in deserted fields. During police interrogation, serial killer Kuldeep told that he was irritated with women. He started hating them. That’s why he used to kill women selectively. Actually, the real mother and two sisters of psycho killer Kuldeep, accused of killing nine women, have died. The father had married for the second time. Her stepmother used to torture her. At the same time, when Kuldeep got married, after some time his wife also left him. All these incidents filled his heart and mind with hatred towards women. That’s why he started killing women selectively.
Kuldeep told in his confessional statement to Bareilly Police that his father Baburam had married another woman while his mother was alive. According to Kuldeep- Father Baburam used to beat my real mother at the behest of my step mother. They used to beat me and my sisters also. Due to these atrocities and troubles of the father, the real mother and both the sisters died.
These incidents created hatred in Kuldeep’s mind. He started behaving like a crazy person. However, till then he had not become a psycho killer. Meanwhile, Kuldeep got married in the year 2014. But during this time he had become violent. He started beating his wife. Fed up with Kuldeep’s harassment, his wife left him. After his wife left him, Kuldeep started living in forests and isolated places. Wandering on foot, not carrying a mobile phone, and behaving strangely had become his nature.
He had become addicted to drugs. While staying away from society, the thought of serial killing came to his mind. After which he started targeting women of 45 to 55 years of age (middle age). Earlier he used to do Reiki of women, when he was satisfied that the woman was alone, he would drag her to the field and strangulate her with a saree or dupatta.
After killing women, psycho killer Kuldeep used to drag their bodies and then tie a knot around their neck. When asked the reason, he told that he wanted to be satisfied that the woman would not survive after his departure. Kuldeep has admitted to committing 6 murders in a serial manner following the same pattern.
Used to do this work after killing women
On Friday (August 9), Bareilly SSP Anurag Arya exposed this serial killing and presented Kuldeep in front of the media. During this, he told that Kuldeep has been arrested in connection with some murders that took place in the area. There is frustration in the mind of the accused regarding women. If anyone protested, he would strangle her to death. The accused has confessed to 6 incidents. At present, investigation is going on.
According to the police, Kuldeep used to hold women hostage at isolated places and demand sexual relations from them. When the victims protested, Kuldeep. He used to strangulate her to death with her saree/dupatta. After the murder, he used to keep some thing of the deceased with him as a memento, like sickle, lipstick, bindi or Aadhaar card.
It is noteworthy that in the last 14 months, 9 women have been murdered within a radius of about 25 kilometers of Shahi and Shishgarh police station area of Bareilly. Everyone’s pattern remained the same. Police had released sketches regarding this incident. The psycho killer has been arrested within 48 hours of releasing the sketch.
