In a school in Muzaffarnagar, the teacher locked a small child studying in class one in the class and went away. After this, when the child did not reach home for hours, the family started searching for him. Then it was discovered that the child was locked in a room inside the school. Then the school teacher was called and the classroom was locked. Only then was the child taken out.

After this video went viral, the Education Department of Muzaffarnagar also came into action and BSA immediately reached the spot and investigated the matter. After this the school in-charge was suspended. This case pertains to Gujarheri village located in Jansath tehsil area.

Six year old student remained locked in class
It is being told that on Tuesday, in-charge of the primary school located in the village, Sapna Jain and assistant teacher Ravita Rani had locked Lucky, a 6-year-old student of class one, in the class after the holiday and went to their home. After this, when the student did not return home after leave, the family started searching for him. Then it was revealed that this innocent student was locked inside the classroom and it was locked from outside.

The assistant teacher’s husband came and opened the lock.
When the child’s family called school in-charge Sapna Jain and informed her about the matter, assistant teacher Ravita Rani’s husband reached the school and opened the lock of the classroom. Then the student was taken out. During this time, the family members of the victim child had captured the incident on their mobile and made it viral on social media.

Only two teachers are working in the school
After this, the education department of the district also came into action and then when Muzaffarnagar Basic Education Officer Sandeep Kumar reached the spot and made inquiries, prima facie both the teachers were found guilty. Due to this, school in-charge Sapna Jain was suspended and assistant teacher Ravita was suspended. After giving an adverse entry to Rani, BSA has given orders to Jansath Block Education Officer and Shahpur Block Education Officer to submit the report within a week to investigate this matter.

Action taken against both the teachers
Giving more information about this incident, Muzaffarnagar District Basic Education Officer Sandeep Kumar said that Block Shiksha Jansath informed me about this incident yesterday in the evening. Some person also told them that in the primary school in Gurjar Redi of Jansath block, the teacher had locked a child in the class and went home.

There are two teachers working in that school. 35 children study in school there. After dismissing Lucky, a class one student, the teachers locked him in the class and went home. He came after an hour and opened the door and took him out. Sandeep Kumar told that as soon as I came to know about this incident at 7:00 in the evening, I reached the village. I talked to the parents and also the villagers. There was some anger in him and that was natural too. After talking to them, I felt that there was gross negligence on the part of these teachers and in this we have found the teachers guilty and suspended the in-charge.
