Bangladesh is burning in the fire of violence. PM Sheikh Hasina had to resign and leave the country. Hindus are being massacred. But the one question behind all this is that what happened to Sheikh Hasina, who returned with such a huge victory in the elections held 8 months ago, that a coup took place in the country. Many angles are coming forward regarding this. Meanwhile, the name of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS), the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, has come to light. It is being said that this student wing, as part of planning, created such an environment against the Sheikh Hasina government in Bangladesh due to which Bangladesh has become unstable today. Let us know how the student camp accomplished this.

Student camp was active for 3 years

If sources are to be believed, the president and former president of Chhatra Shibir were active all over Dhaka for the last 3 years. Here these people conspired and started provoking the students. First of all, Islami Chhatra Shibir selected the Paribesh Parishad in the universities across the country through which students come for admission in different universities of Bangladesh. This can be gauged from the fact that in just 5 years, the number of members of this student wing had increased from 5000 to about one lakh cadres in the whole of Bangladesh.

Picture changed in 2023

For the last 10 years, the Council has been continuously approaching the universities to give place to their cadre in the Paribesh Council. From the very beginning, Jamaat started influencing the students taking admission in the university through this unit. By 2023, a cadre of Islamic Chhatra Shibir was ready across Bangladesh which would take to the streets of Bangladesh to demonstrate with a single message. This cadre continued to raise issues against Sheikh Hasina and India.

There was agitation even before the elections

Chhatra Shibir had also organized several movements in Dhaka and its surrounding areas between October and December 2023, just before Sheikh Hasina won the elections in 2024. But he could not stop the return of Hasina government. Nurul Islam Bulbul, a former member of the same student union, is currently very active in the local politics of Dhaka. Before 2024, he was continuously involved in anti-India and anti-Sheikh Hasina protests.

Sheikh Hasina had banned

Sheikh Hasina government had recently banned Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Chhatra Shibir and other organizations associated with it. This step was taken after several weeks of violent protests in Bangladesh. It is being said that after this action of the government, these organizations have come out on the streets against the Sheikh Hasina government.
