Meanwhile, former US President Donald Trump has announced that he will give an interview to tech giant Elon Musk on Monday (August 12) night. Making the announcement on his official Truth social media handle, Trump said, ‘On Monday night I will be doing a major interview with Elon Musk.’
However, Musk has not yet shared any information regarding this interview on his social media platform X. This decision of Trump has come at a time when Democrat Party candidate Kamala Harris has selected Tim Walz as the Vice Presidential candidate. Tim Walz is the Governor of Minnesota.
Twitter had banned Trump
Let us tell you that Trump was banned from Twitter in January 2021. After this he launched his own social media platform. However, Trump’s X account was restored after Musk took over the social media platform.
Trump and Harris clashed over the interview
Recently, there was a lot of debate on social media between Trump and Musk regarding the debate. Actually, both want to debate on different TV channel and date. While Kamala Harris wants a debate on ABC News on September 10, Trump says that he wants to debate with Kamala Harris on Fox News and that too on September 4. Now both are blaming each other regarding this debate. However, the debate between the two leaders has not taken place yet.

The second round of debate was to be held between Trump and Biden on September 10, but Biden had withdrawn his name from the candidacy. Who is Tim Walz?
Apart from being a strong speaker, Tim Walz has also been a vocal supporter of both President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Tim Walz, a US Army National Guard veteran and former teacher, was elected to the US House of Representatives representing Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District in 2006. During his tenure, he focused heavily on education and agriculture. Before being elected governor, Tim served in this post for 12 years.
