Noida Police has busted a gang which used to cheat innocent women by posing as Baba and performing magic tricks. Police have arrested 5 criminals of this gang. Chain, locket, ring, mangalsutra, anklet, idol of Lord Hanuman, idol of Maa Kali and sodium have been recovered from their possession.
In fact, three women had complained at the Expressway police station in Noida that some people had cheated them by posing as Baba. The fake babas took her ring, earrings and other jewelery and fled from the spot. When the police investigated the case, they came to know about a gang, which used to prey on women walking on the streets by posing as Baba.

Police raided and arrested five people. During interrogation, the accused told that they used to keep photos of Lord Hanuman and Kali with them. He used to make his getup like a Baba, so that people would think that he is a Baba. Apart from this, these people used to carry sodium with them. He used to talk to the women walking on the road about such common things, which is a problem in every household.
Baba used to sprinkle water on sodium to prove that he was real.
They used to say to women that ‘You do good to everyone, but no one does good to you.’ You are worried because of your children. Money comes home, but it is spent quickly. Hearing such things, women used to fall into their trap. To prove themselves as real Baba, they used to sprinkle water on sodium, which caused it to catch fire. By doing this they used to show that they were setting fire with their powers. Seeing all this, women used to fall into his trap. After this, they would engage the women in conversation and make them remove their jewelery and then flee from the spot.

DCP Rambadan Singh said that five people who committed fraud by posing as fake babas have been arrested. These people used to trap innocent women walking on the road by posing as Baba. These people used to sprinkle water on sodium and set it on fire. After this, after engaging the women in conversation, they would make them remove their jewelery and then run away from the spot. Those people are being arrested and sent to jail.
