The protesters have expressed their anger at Awami League Party MP Murtaza for his silence on the alleged massacre in Bangladesh and the mass arrest of students. In the visuals that emerged after the incident, his house was seen being vandalized and set on fire by the protesters.

Protestors angry with Sheikh Hasina government targeted many major buildings of the country besides the Prime Minister’s residence. The protesters set fire to the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum. Along with this, the crowd that entered the Parliament of Bangladesh created a lot of ruckus here too. Its footage is also going viral. In a video, protesters can be seen climbing on the tables of Parliament House, creating ruckus and throwing chairs.

A hotel was set on fire in anger of the people against the Bangladesh government. This hotel is said to be owned by Awami League General Secretary Shaheen Chakladar. Eight people died in this incident while 84 people were injured. Deputy Commissioner Abrarul Islam confirmed this and said that during the celebrations, some people set fire to Jabir Hotel in Chittamore area.

In the video surfaced from Bangladesh, protesters were seen climbing on the statue of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and breaking it. The protesters have become so furious that they broke the statue of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, known as the Father of the Nation of Bangladesh, with a bulldozer. Ignoring the nationwide curfew, thousands of protesters gathered at Shahbagh intersection in Dhaka for the long march. Earlier, more than 100 people had died in the violence on Sunday.
