There was a stir after the dead body of a woman was found in a dry canal in Gurugram, Haryana, adjacent to Delhi. Regarding this incident, police said that the body of an unknown woman was found in Farrukhnagar area on Monday morning.
According to the news agency report, Vinaypal, a resident of Mahachana village, was going towards his fields this morning when he noticed a foul smell coming from the canal near the fields. He told that he went near the canal and found a naked body of a woman lying in the canal and he informed the police.
A senior police officer said there was no water in the canal and the woman’s clothes were also found near her body. He said that the body has been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is going on.

After the matter came to light, the police arrested the accused. The accused said that his brother-in-law used to harass his sister a lot, that is why he took such a dreadful step. Police identified the accused as Rajesh (21), a native of Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh.
