A surprising case came to light in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, where a brother, angry over his sister’s love marriage, started forcibly taking her home on a bike in filmy style. According to the information received, the whole matter is of Padri police station area where the girl Neha (24), who lives there, had a love affair with her cousin’s brother-in-law Abhishek. Lover Abhishek is a resident of Kachwan police station area. Recently both of them had a love marriage. Yesterday, Abhishek had come to the police station with his parents and wife Neha to seek protection of his life and property. He said that Neha’s family members are threatening him.
Meanwhile, as soon as Abhishek came out of the police station in an auto, Neha’s cousins attacked him. It is alleged that the brothers vandalized the auto and also broke Abhishek’s head. Then, they forcibly made Neha sit on the bike and drove away. Meanwhile Neha kept screaming. The passersby kept watching the show.
At present, the police has taken cognizance of the viral video. In the case, area officer Sadar Manjari Rao said that investigation revealed that a 24-year-old girl who is a resident of Padri police station area. Her love affair was going on with her cousin’s brother-in-law, who is a resident of Kachwan. Both of them have married each other. The girl’s family members were unhappy about this and there was a fight with the youth.
The girl was being taken back home to Padri by her cousins, against which the girl is seen in the video protesting. No incident like kidnapping has been found. A complaint of fight and dispute between family members has been received at Kachwan police station, advance legal action is being taken as per rules. The peace and law and order situation at the spot is normal. On the complaint of the youth (Abhishek) injured in the fight, the police have registered a case and started investigation.
