According to the complaint lodged by the family members of the girl students at Malharganj police station, a teacher of Government Sharda Girls Higher Secondary School in Bada Ganpati area took the girls to the toilet after mobile phones started ringing in the class and asked them to take off their clothes, the official said. The parents alleged in their complaint that the girl students were also beaten during this period. A student of the school said that the teachers took her to the toilet, made her remove her clothes and also threatened to shoot a video and make it viral on social media if she did not agree to bring her mobile phone.

Police is investigating the matter

Malhargang police station sub-inspector M Dhurve said, ‘The complaint is being investigated after which action will be taken against the accused. Girls Higher Secondary School Principal Seema Jain said that a student was found with a mobile phone in the class and her parents were informed about it. Speaking about the allegations related to the incident, Jain said that the matter will be investigated and appropriate steps will be taken.
