What is double work?
Actually, Central Government employees are given adequate leave for sports events, training etc. and they are also given assistants for the work. Besides, many other facilities are also provided so that the sports life of the athletes and players is not affected in any way.
Get special leave
Central government employees are given 30 days extra special casual leave every year. In this, 30 days extra leave is given to the staff participating in National Institute of Sports, Coaching Scheme, All India Coaching, Training Scheme. 10 days leave is given for Inter Ministerial Tournament.
Mark is still on duty even if you don’t go to office.
If the employees are going to participate in any event which has great importance at the national or international level, then the players can go for this period and the employees will be considered on duty for these days only and the leave will not be adjusted.
TA-DA is also available separately
If any employee goes to participate in an event, then TA-DA is also given by the department for his visit. Its amount is decided on the basis of their rank, event etc. In some events, TA and DA are given along with duty.
Increment is also affected
Not only this, employees are also given increment or promotion on the basis of their event performance. Like some players are promoted after big achievements. The special thing is that if there is any increment or promotion, it lasts till retirement, it is not that a special increment is given for a few days.
The rules of increment are different for coaches, technical officers, managers, coach doctors and umpires. Apart from this, many bonuses etc. are also given to the players from time to time.
