Leader of Opposition in UP Assembly, Mata Prasad Pandey took a dig at CM Yogi Adityanath regarding the bulldozer action. Speaking in the House, he said that your (Yogi) Guru Digvijaynath loved us very much. Whenever we went to him, he used to talk very seriously. Therefore, now you too should show some seriousness towards us. However, it is not your fault, it happens a little at this age.
Regarding CM Yogi’s strict style, Mata Prasad Pandey said that all this is the effect of age. If you want, you can use a bulldozer on someone or demolish someone’s house. But I don’t consider it your fault, this is the age, it happens at this age.
Hearing the words of the Leader of Opposition, CM Yogi, Shivpal Yadav and all the MLAs sitting in the assembly started laughing. Even Mata Prasad herself could not stop laughing. Mata Prasad also said that you (Yogi) have been our neighbour. In the initial days, I also used to go to the Math (Goraknath Temple). Now you too should show seriousness like Digvijaynath ji.
Apart from this, Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad cornered the Yogi government in the Assembly on various issues like corruption at the tehsil level, crime control etc. Also gave his suggestions regarding the supplementary budget. He said that the government gives Rs 1200 for the dress etc. of children in primary schools, this is insufficient, it needs to be increased. The government has a lot of budget which has not been spent yet.
Mata Prasad claimed that the Saryu project dates back to 1977, but it has not been completed till now. Till now more than Rs 2 thousand crores have been spent in this. He also alleged that there is an atmosphere of fear in UP. The government many times says that we have cured the mafia, we have cured the goons, but it is not so. There is a need to consider this.
