Monsoon has become active in most areas of NCR including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Greater Noida West. It is raining heavily in Delhi-NCR. As the weather changed, people got relief from the humid heat. For the first time in this season, good monsoon rains have been seen.

82 percent less rain this month compared to last year

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), 203 mm rainfall has been recorded in the national capital between July 1 and 30. Last year, 384 mm rainfall was recorded during the entire month of July. The rainfall in July 2023 was 83 percent more than normal rainfall. Let us tell you that Delhi had to face the worst situation like flood due to heavy rains in July last year.

The weather office has predicted light to moderate rain for Wednesday also and there is an alert of heavy rain in many areas here. The Meteorological Department has issued an ‘Orange’ alert, which indicates a situation of “stay alert”. Apart from Delhi, there is an alert of heavy rain in its surrounding areas today. There are chances of heavy rain in Noida today. There will be heavy rain in Ghaziabad today and tomorrow (31 July-1 August). However, there is no possibility of much rain in Gurugram, Haryana.
