A sensational incident of rape of a 12-year-old minor girl has come to light in Thane, Maharashtra. The matter came to light when the victim experienced severe stomach pain and her family took her to the hospital. The doctors there, after examination, revealed that she was two months pregnant. After this the victim informed her family about the crime that happened to her. Police have registered a case in this matter and are searching for the accused.
According to a police officer, the victim girl and her family had come to Thane district from Nepal for livelihood. The family was living in a room at a construction site in Badlapur East. Last June the family members had gone to work. At that time the girl was alone in the house. Then the accused entered her room and forcibly had physical relations with her. After this he threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the incident.
The victim was badly scared. He did not tell anything about the incident to his family members. But on July 19, he started having severe stomach pain. His family members took him to the hospital. There the investigation revealed that she was pregnant. After this, the victim’s mother took her to Badlapur police station. There, on the basis of his complaint, a case was registered against the accused under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act. The accused is being searched.
Let us tell you that a similar case had come to light in Thane in May also. Here a 15-year-old minor girl was raped several times by two of her own relatives. When the victim became pregnant, the accused forcibly gave her abortion pills so that she would have an abortion. The surprising thing is that the accused were in a father-son relationship. The son was 20 years old. Both of them were blackmailing the victim and continuously making her a victim of their lust.
When the victim became pregnant, she narrated her ordeal to her mother. The ground slipped beneath mother’s feet. The victim’s mother took her to Bhiwandi police station in the district. On the basis of their complaint, the police registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act. As soon as the police received information about the case, the accused fled. This incident which brought shame to relationships had shocked everyone.
