There is anger among the students after the death of three students due to drowning in the basement of Rau’s IAS Coaching Center in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. In such a situation, students are protesting in Mukherjee Nagar holding the administration responsible for these deaths. These students are blocking the roads and demanding action against criminals and safety of students.

Students of Mukherjee Nagar are protesting against the death of three students in the coaching center of Rajendra Nagar. Here the students blocked the road and said that the fault of the owners running the coaching centers is as much the fault of the Municipal Corporation and other concerned departments. Action should be taken against them also.

Let us tell you that after the accident at RAU’s IAS Coaching Center located in Old Rajendra Nagar in Delhi, continuous action by Delhi Police and Delhi Municipal Corporation is going on. So far 19 centers have been sealed. At the same time, the Home Ministry has formed a committee to investigate this accident. This committee will find out the causes of the accident, fix responsibility, suggest solutions and recommend policy changes. At the same time, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi VK Saxena has announced an assistance of Rs 10 lakh for the families of the deceased.

Action took place in Mukherjee Nagar

On Monday, MCD sealed the coaching center Drishti (The Vision) located in Nehru Vihar. MCD said that during the survey, coaching was found running in the combined basement of tower number 1, 2 and 3 located in Nehru Vihar, Delhi, which has been sealed. Explaining about its action, the corporation said that MCD Drishti Vision IAS sealed for violation of building norms for using basement for coaching/teaching purpose.

Earlier on Sunday, Delhi Municipal Corporation had sealed 13 coaching centers running illegally in the basement. Apart from this, notices were also pasted on the coaching centres. Let us tell you that three students had died due to sudden water filling in the basement of a coaching center in Rajendra Nagar. After this accident, special action has been taken on the activities in the basement. are being taken and illegal activities are being sealed.

What has happened so far in the case?

An FIR has been registered in this case at Rajendra Nagar police station. Police have registered a case under sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 290 (negligence while constructing buildings) of the Indian Justice Code.

In the case, the police have arrested 7 accused including coaching center owner Abhishek Gupta and coordinator Deshpal Singh. The court has sent everyone to judicial custody for 14 days.

At the same time, after the accident, Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) has also come into action mode. MCD has sealed 19 coaching institutes running illegally in basements. This action has been taken on the coaching institutes running in Mukherjee Nagar and Rajendra Nagar. Action has been taken against 13 institutions on Sunday and 6 institutions on Monday.

Delhi Mayor Shaili Oberoi said that in this case JE has been terminated and AE has been suspended. Besides, instructions have been given to take action against the coaching centers running without taking permission from the Municipal Corporation in Delhi.

How did the accident happen?

No official statement has come on this yet. Initial investigation has revealed that there was heavy rain on Saturday, due to which the road was flooded. Due to lack of drainage system, this water filled the basement of the coaching centre.

Many videos of this incident are going viral on social media, in which many students are seen trying to save themselves from drowning. In a video, the main entry gate of the coaching center is seen collapsing due to heavy rains, due to which the basement was flooded.

It is being told that there was only one way to enter and leave the basement. Some students have alleged that the biometric system of entry-exit had broken down, due to which the students were stuck here.
