Today (28 July) is the second day of Paris Olympics 2024. All eyes are on shooter Manu Bhakar, who is participating in the final of the Women’s 10 meter Air Pistol. Eight shooters have made it to the finals. Three of these shooters will finish on the podium. 22-year-old Manu Bhaker could not do anything special in the Tokyo Olympics, but this time she has come to Paris with the intention of performing better.
Manu Bhaker is in second place after the initial five shot series. After the second five-shot series, Manu came at third position. Now after two shots each shooter will have to be eliminated. Only top-3 shooters will finish the podium.

Manu Bhaker stood third in the qualifying round of 60 shots with a total of 580 points. Bhakar scored 97 marks in the first series, 97 in the second, 98 in the third, 96 in the fourth, 96 in the fifth and 96 in the sixth series. Rhythm Sangwan was also participating in the Women’s 10 meter Air Pistol event, but she disappointed. Rhythm stood at 15th position with 573 points.
Indian shooter Manu Bhaker is participating in her second Olympic Games in Paris 2024. He made his debut in Tokyo Olympics 2020, but due to his pistol getting damaged during 10 meter air pistol qualification, he was deprived of the medal. She had also missed medals in the mixed team 10 meter pistol and 25 meter pistol events.
22-year-old Manu Bhaker is competing in the women’s 10 meter air pistol, 10 meter air pistol mixed team and women’s 25 meter pistol events in the Paris 2024 Olympic shooting competition. She is the only athlete from the 21-member Indian shooting team to compete in multiple individual events.
