A poster posted near a liquor shop in Burhanpur is going viral on social media these days. Here the path to learning English is shown on the poster. It is written on the poster ‘Learn to speak English in broad daylight’, after this a contract is written and the path is shown by making an arrow mark. Action has also been taken against the contract operator for making such a crude joke by associating education with alcohol.

A strange poster near an English liquor shop has become a center of discussion. Seeing this poster, passers-by, especially youth and students, are getting quite confused. When the liquor shop employees were asked about who had put up this poster, they too hesitated and did not give any answer.

Local students called the poster a cruel joke on education.
Siddharth Kumar, a local college student, criticized this poster a lot. He said that seeing this poster will have a negative impact on the students. Apart from this, other students also criticized this poster. The students said that this poster should be removed and whoever has put up such a poster should be removed. Strictest action should be taken against him.

Students getting confused by the poster
Students said that looking at this poster, it seems that the liquor shop operator, in order to attract the attention of the customers, wants to tell through this poster that one can speak English fluently after drinking liquor. This will have a negative impact on the youth and students. After seeing this poster at first glance, it seems that it is a poster of some Spoken English Coaching Centre. Putting up such a poster is a cruel joke on education.

Collector imposed fine
When District Collector Bhavya Mittal got information about this poster, she immediately directed the Excise Department to remove this poster and take action against the person who put up the poster. After giving instructions to District Excise Officer Virendra Dhakad, action was taken by imposing a fine of Rs 10,000 on the liquor contractor.
