A surprising case has come to light from Muzaffarpur in Bihar. Where the thief entered a house with the intention of stealing and started touching the bed with a student studying in MIT. Suddenly the student woke up and saw that the thief was trying to misbehave with her. When the student started making noise, the thief ran away and took her phone with him. When the student dialed her number from her friend’s phone, the thief picked up the phone and started talking obscenely and calling her to meet him alone.
The victim lodged a complaint at the local police station. Police registered a case under U/S 343(1) 332(2) BNS 2023 on 187/24 dated 20,7,24 and started investigation. The student studies in the first semester in the pharmacy branch at MIT. At four o’clock in the morning on July 20, a thief entered the room of three girl students. Redmi Note 12 mobile was kept on the student’s bed. The thief picked it up and started touching the student’s bed, then she woke up. When he raised alarm, the thief started threatening him while leaving the room. Out of fear the other girl students locked themselves inside another room.
The thief entered the students’ room and ran away with the phone
The student told the police that when she called her number from her friend’s mobile, the thief received the call and talked obscenely. The thief said that he will return the mobile but will have to come wherever he calls.
Police registered a case and started investigation.
After this the victim lodged an FIR in Brahmapura police station. Along with this, the audio of obscene talk along with the CCTV footage installed in the room was also handed over to the police. On this matter, Brahmapura police station officer Subhash Mukhiya said that investigation is being done on the basis of mobile tower location. It is feared that the mobile thief will be from the local locality only. The one who has been keeping an eye on the girl students will soon be arrested.
