Pitch invader Football Paris Olympics 2024: There was chaos in the opening and group stage matches of the Paris Olympics when football fans came on the field and attacked the Argentina team with firecrackers. Seeing this strange scene the athletes ran away from there.

Spectators threw firecrackers at Argentina’s players at the Olympics. Due to this, the match between Morocco and Argentina was postponed. However, Argentina had to face defeat in this match which started after about 2 hours. The match started again in an empty stadium after removing the spectators from the field.

In fact, after Argentina’s equalizing goal, angry Moroccan fans came to the football field and the crowd threw firecrackers at the Argentine players, which created chaos. Argentina coach Javier Mascherano said that he had never seen such a circus before. An on-field attack resulted in Argentina’s 2-1 defeat to Morocco in their first Olympic match in Saint-Etienne on Wednesday (25 July).

When the match started again, the entire stadium was evacuated. This match between Argentina and Morocco on Wednesday was the opening and group stage match of the Olympic football tournament. But an attack by fans led to chaos, with the game being postponed and Argentina ultimately losing 2–1 based on VAR (Video assistant referee) review.

Argentina’s Cristian Medina had equalized the score at 2-2 in injury time, but the decision to disallow the goal was made about two hours after the game was stopped. When both the teams returned to the field to finish the match in an empty stadium.
