Worshiping Jyotirlingas is better than worshiping other Shivalingas. If only the names of these Shivalingas are remembered every morning, the sins of seven births are washed away. Rules for worshiping 12 Jyotirlingas at home
Place the picture of Jyotirlinga in the east or west direction of the house. Do not put pictures of all the Jyotirlingas together. As per your requirement, it would be better if you put a picture of Jyotirlinga. You can put this picture on any day in the month of Sawan. Otherwise Monday, Purnima or Shivratri day is also best for this. Do not install any other picture or deity at the place where the picture of Jyotirlinga is placed.

How to worship Jyotirlingas?
Keep a big vessel in front of Jyotirlinga. First of all meditate on Lord Shiva and then offer Bel leaves, fruits, incense etc. in the same vessel. After this, while chanting the name of Lord Shiva, pour water in the same vessel with both hands. Chant any mantra of Lord Shiva at least three or maximum 11 times. After chanting, meditate on Lord Shiva. At the end, take the names of the twelve Jyotirlingas and then pray for forgiveness.
