As the assembly elections approach in Maharashtra, the political turmoil has intensified. State Deputy CM and NCP National President Ajit Pawar met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Wednesday morning. He reached Delhi last night. He met the Union Home Minister during his 7-hour visit from 1 pm to 8 am.

After the meeting of Amit Shah and Ajit Pawar, senior BJP leader and Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis reached Delhi early in the morning. According to sources, this meeting was held to discuss the seat distribution of the NDA-led Mahayuti alliance for the upcoming assembly elections.

Ajit Pawar plans to contest elections on 80-90 seats

During the meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah, Ajit Pawar stressed on finalizing the seat distribution as soon as possible. Like Lok Sabha elections, he said that seat distribution should not be postponed till the last minute. Keeping this in mind, Ajit Pawar had sought time to meet Amit Shah. It is being told that he wants to contest elections on 80-90 seats.

BJP wants to contest elections on 170-180 seats

Recently, in the BJP’s core committee meeting, party leaders had demanded that the party should contest on 17-180 seats in the upcoming assembly elections. At the same time, Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde also demanded many important seats in the assembly elections. Party leader Ram Kadam has clarified in a statement that Shinde’s Shiv Sena will not contest the assembly elections on less than 100 seats.

Ajit-Shinde do not understand what BJP is!

The Maharashtra Congress leader said that neither Ajit Pawar nor Eknath Shinde understands what BJP is. The way Shinde and Ajit Pawar were given a chance today and lost it. In such a situation, where will BJP give a chance? He said that Maharashtra has never given a chance to traitors. This was visible in the Lok Sabha elections and will now be seen even better in the Assembly elections.
